zero emmissions
Question on zero emmission...

If the power station that produces the electricity that runs my car is powered by fossil fuel, can I still maintain that my car has zero emissions?
"Is J33PER becoming less Climate Change skeptical" I hear you ask. No, he's not!
The reason for raising this question is that I am more than happy to contribute to whatever is best for our environment.. as long as "the solution" has substance, is consistent and isn't merely a fad thought out by some vote chasing politician.
If I buy a new car that has 20% lower emissions than my old one, am I doing the environment a favour? Is it OK to forget about the CO2 foot print of actually producing the thing?
Now, throughout this Climate debate, I still haven't heard and answers to these questions. Answers on a postcard please!
